I love gazing on the creativity of the Victorians and their ways of embellishing a simple card...and the shoes below, she truly has a gift!

They really were advertising wizards. It's funny to think most people have this notion that we are bombarded by advertisements today, but if you look at your average street scene photograph in a 19th century city, every inch is covered!

I wonder if they considered it as boring and intrusive as we see ours?
