Adieu

I sit, looking out at the light after a thunderstorm, and realize like the weather, I am unsettled.

Last month's health scare is somewhat resolved. Tests came back "basically normal". Yet here I am wondering what is next. What is important in this life? I want to surround myself with friends and family. I'm going to look for things that bring me joy. Right at this moment, blogging isn't one of them. So I'm going to say adieu...for a while anyway...

  1. I understand completely...but will be there if you ever get the urge...to blog again..it is consuming and since I don't watch TV, seems like blogging takes up the slack and you don't have that slack right now...be well.

  2. I'm sorry I missed your health scare, and relieved that all is basically well. I understand your need to reassess those things that bring you joy-and even encourage it. Blog schmog, let's keep in touch, be well my friend!

  3. Tests... Everything is a test, teaching us perspective. You have a wonderful mind, a big talent... So glad that you are basically OK... but are wise enough to jettison what no longer feeds you in favor of discovering what does. May your path be lit with discoveries, and your heart with revelations. Stay safe amid the lightning strikes, thunderstorms & flooding.

  4. Take care. We all need to take care of ourselves, the inner us.

I`ll not be blogging for a while either. I need to take care of my husband and I have to nurture myself so I can nurture him.

  7. Oh gosh C, I hope you feel better soon.

I found myself in an awful place a few months ago, and was saved by a book called 'Living Your Best Life' by Laura Berman Fortgang...

You should pick up a copy if you're looking for a good read. It really helped me dig deep and find goodness in my soul.

  13. Hello Charmaine, I fully understand. Health scare is really no fun and I've been seeing people having to struggle with health problems very often nowadays. Do whatever that makes you HAPPY, life is meant to be enjoyed fully, so if it means being off blog land, it's ok. Do know that you off blog land does not mean that you are forgotten, we'll be right here when you are back..well, I hope I am still in blog land on that day. I've got ups and downs in blog land too, sending you lots of love and hugs always.M

  16. I don't know you, I'm just here because of White Wednesday, but I can feel your pain. I've been there, I'm there now. It's all a journey to be traveled.

I can only say one thing of real importance. Don't forget who and what you are, don't loose yourself in the journey. For that is what will heal you and give you peace and happiness. The real you.
