Ten o'clock shadow

Bundled up for a 35 degree high desert winter hike.
Down coat, scarf, hat, ski gloves.

I refer to this as the Michelin Tire Man look...

    It's always good to do whatever necessary to keep warm. Interesting landscape there.

    It topped out at about 18 or 19 degrees here today.
