Maybe there is something to social media.
Like blogging and the connections formed, I'm starting to see the use of Facebook as another way to stumble across inspiration.
Take for instance, the Steel Toe Studios website.

Mark knows Erica, the owner, through the Northwest Blacksmith Association. Erica has an interactive website where one can design their own belt. Check it out.

So cool.
I became a fan of Erica's on Facebook, and found a link to her friend's site, Crafting an MBA which is fascinating.

I really haven't gotten into it much, however, my daughter updates her peeps with the new stuff at the shop all the time.
ReplyDeleteCrafting an MBA has some interesting comments about Etsy - thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links, love the belts and the cozy cuffs!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of designing my own belt....thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteSweet! And, build your own belt?! This is gonna get ugly...
ReplyDeleteThese are both great links. Thanks for them!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I found my way back to your site (your in my reader, but I haven't had much internet access lately) through a comment you left on Fog and Thistle.
So the wheel keeps turning.
Thanks for the links, Charmaine--very interesting!
ReplyDeleteCool idea......love the belts.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fun. I'll have a play at making my own belt a little later. Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteThe link to Google Buzz lead me to an online seminar that I am going to check out. It is amazing how one link can carry you in such a different direction as you follow links. If I only had more time !!!
