My husband, Mark, is a talented artist blacksmith. Beginning with simple plant shelves, his artwork has evolved into complicated organic shapes. My favorite piece is the grape branch adorning the kitchen window in our old home in Silverton. This photo was taken by Philip Clayton-Thompson & styled by Donna Pizzi for a magazine shoot for Small Room Decorating in 2005. In our desert home, I designed our new kitchen to prominently display this piece of art.
