One of the problems I came across during our remodel was the lack of understanding regarding the health issues of using products containing formaldehyde (think laminate countertops and pink insulation, and in the case of insulation....a double-whammy because fiberglass is also toxic). Formaldehyde is a carcinogin. No ifs, ands or buts about it folks. It causes cancer.
