Blog Photopalooza, day six

Yes, but, what is it?

And the story goes:
The previous owners of the property next door, after getting thoroughly liquored up, decided to build a pyramid. This is as far as they got.
And there it stands.

A random photo a day for two weeks: a random bit of fun started by Wall Candy.

My neighbors a few doors down have a modern metal statue of a mother holding a baby, except Mama's head has fallen off about two years ago and is still on the ground

Hey, that looks interesting..
There is something to be said about it..I have even heard people stand in them and they get some kind of energy..

lol. That's what I should do. Get all liquored up and build a pyramid for my garden. Just a smaller version.

A renovators dream! The frame-work is all set up. What are you waiting for? Can't wait to see what you do with it! Keep us posted on the progress with lots of "after" shots ;)

It's on our neighbor's property. We just get to look at it!

Niiiiiice. I can't recall how many times I was at the point where the need to build a pyramid (or some other type of crazy structure) was absolutely necessary.. This is a great photo!

LOL! Well at least it is pyramid-like. You're doing great on your challenge, loving all the random scenery from your coast :)

I'm curious...

How long has it been there?

evidently for more than 30 years....strange, isn't it?

Looks like something my husband might build. On purpose.

I did that once....Ok, not really.

I'm pretty sure that looks like a vortex for the aliens to come.

Sort of inspires me to make a necklace or something...

It truly is a conversation piece. No wonder the current owners leave it in place.

How funny, at first glance I thought it was a piece of art. (a purposely proposed piece of art!)

I don't know why, but this actually gave me a chuckle! Love your blog!

Well, I sat here staring at it for several minutes and have to say, I Like it...Dont think my neighbors would appreciate something like that. Making a Statement...

There's absolutely NOTHING better than imagining you, sitting there at the computer, typing out the words "...all liquored up." Conjurs up a guy named, Bobby Dean Errington, who used to like to try to outrun the two cops in the little town of Roanoke, Alabama, my mom grew up in and we visited all through my childhood. Think he'd be right at home in the "pyramid". Thanks for the mental picture, Diva! You're a stitch...

hehehe! Love your photos, this one especially made me smile, I wonder if they will ever finish it? Maybe you could help them? I'm sure then it would look wonderful!

Karen...me and Bobby Dean are tight...that's where the phrase came from!
