We've spent the last few weekends doing outside projects. Mark enclosed the lean to by adding a wall and sliding barn door. And because everything needs a little art, he added his forged door handle.
OK, did you ever watch Absolutely Fabulous? There's an episode where the main character wants to redo her kitchen and she flew from London to New York to take a picture of a door handle in some hotel- THAT was her inspiration piece. Well THIS could easily be one too. Good work Mark!
Mark is so talented! Along with an Etsy shop, he should think about taking his portfolio around to some of the shops in Sisters that sell higher end home accouterments. He'd probably get all of the custom work he could handle.
great handle.My greatgrandfather was a blacksmith and he used to make things like that.
I'll look in my pictures to see if I can find some ancient serpents and lizards ones.they were very popular in germanic countries a few hundred years back.
I love this idea to recycle,to make something new or diffrent from smth that somebody else doesn't need anymore. And there are so many ideas,that u can't believe! But I don't know where to start. What is a Etsy shop?

Mark asked me the other day if I would sell some of his pieces in my Etsy shop.
I said, "Sure, but why don't you open your own?"
