I love seeing the photos of your neck of the woods. I hope to be able to visit that part of the country someday soon. So beautiful!

Beautiful photos! It looks like we're loosing that sun today though :/ We have a mountain lion that lives in our neighborhood. It really gives you the heebie-geebies to take the trash out at night! One of our neighbors saw it running down the street in the middle of the day! I'm sure you have them around your place, Diva--you just haven't seen him ;)

You're right, Jo. I know there are mountain lions in the general area...I was just thinking about yesterday...definitely didn't see any on the outing!

Hi Diva!
See you caught a picture of my 'vacation house' on the cliff... isn't it dandy? When I get tired of guests that stay too long, I just boot them out the door! (That last step's a doozy) Why worry about mountain lions when you could stress about rattlesnakes, instead?! "Here Spot".... I think that's what you say to figure out where they're hiding. FYI
Back to the rain in the valley...

Ahh to be walking in the wilderness without a care in the world- if only for a moment. This could definitely let my mind wander enough to make that happen.

you live in such a stunning place! That little cabin by the rocks looks like it has been there forever, and I love the plants that look like red sticks

HI!!! Desert Diva,
I've missed you, and have had fun catching up on your blog - the bicycle, the landscape design, the big umbrellas, and everything!!! After looking at these photos, I've got nothing you haven't got!!! Can't wait to see your yard!
