I discovered Magnolia Skies' blog last week through a nudge from Dancing Mooney. Just in time to sign up for a giveaway...which I then won! Heather makes soy wax candles (the only kind I'll burn) and the giveaway was for her 8 oz. size. Can't wait to try it out.
Heather's giveaway was a Pay it Forward. The stipulation was the winner would have to do a similar blog giveaway.
The all-important rules:
*Leave a comment on this post, your comment will receive a number, and you will be entered (just like magic!) Be sure to leave contact info.
*You MUST be willing to Pay it Forward to keep the kindness going and offer a similar giveaway on your blog. (linking back to this one)
*I'll select a winner by drawing a random number (most likely out of the proverbial hat) on April 10th.
My giveaway is an assemblage piece I made out of the front of a vintage metal clock case, a vintage doily & button, the cardboard from a spool of ribbon boasting a price of 3 cents/yd. and some vintage gimp and tatting.
The piece measures 5 1/4" and is best hung, although it can be precariously balanced on a shelf or table.
Good luck!

WooHoo! I'm first!!! Hey, number 1 has as much chance as winning as any other number... and I aim to win.
Congrats on your own prize! Soy candles... mmmm....
well here goes, fingers and toes crossed for me :) and the soy candles looks very nice...have a fantastic week :)
Well of course I LOVE it, every single element, is one of my favorites!! Just a bonus that it comes from you!! Pick #3!!!
JOY!
What a creative item. It really follows the concept that everything has a purpose, and can be reused in an unexpected fashion to make something beautiful.
Very pretty! Looks like you put your old clock to a very good use!
This sounds like fun. Plus.....it's beautiful!
Lucky 7!
Okay, okay, I want the stuff!!! Who wouldn't 'want the stuff'?! So add my name to the growing list of hopefuls. If I don't win this, could you wrangle me a dinner date with Sam Elliott? I know. I don't know why my mind wanders like that either...
I am not commenting to be counted as in for this giveaway I really just wanted to say that you are one of the most positive & generous people I have had the pleasure to get to know & whoever wins this is going to love it!
Brilliant Idea - and brilliant creation!
