I like that blue oat grass. I bet they'll look gorgeous when all mixed in together.

Love the Blue Oat Grass and especially all the lavender you've picked.... Very Diva (who loves lavender!) You'll love it when everything is finished. Really nice, Charmaine!

So pretty! Your garden is going to be lovely - I can't wait to see how it progresses. How exciting! :)

Just know that if that is the Blue Oat Grass that I'm thinking it is, it spreads heavily. Not a bad thing, but if your brain is seeing these cute little clumps that stay in cute little clumps, it will change. You'll have clumps with lots of baby clumps next to it, and baby clumps next to those and so on and so on. They are prolific re-seeders.

I'm surprised you don't have hummingbird mint (agastache, i belive) in there... I have a varietal that survives our winters and it's gorgeous and airy, especially next to russian sage.

And last thing, which salvia are you getting? I've only found the blue kind which makes it through the winters (consistently). I'd love to find a pink one that would work.

Just my two cents - although I'm sure an expert knows more than me, so only take it for about a half cent's worth.

FYI--That jojosho's post is SPAM! I agree about the blue salvia. I have that in my yard and it comes back regardless of how much snow/cold we get. Agastache is on my list of plants to buy this year! High Country Garden has quite a few varieties to choose from :)

Snowbug...thanks for the info. (I'm unfamiliar with most of these plants so any advice is appreciated.) Love to pick your brain more if you're up for it...my email is located in my profile section.

The recommended salvia was Santalina and Germander (May Night), I may have posted the wrong one...I'll go back and look.

I'm also going to look up the agastache...must be good if both you and Jo from Grizzly Mt. recommend it.

Wonderful picks. I just love lavender plants, in all their varieties. I'd be a happy camper just surrounded by garden beds full of lavender!

I like how you've used many native desert plants, or, many with low-water needs! It's crazy how there are these deep green lawns... in the desert.

One day soon, it will be summer. :) Your landscape will look great!

I don't get the green lawn thing here, either.

The plans picture is a bit mis-leading as we won't have any lawn at all.
