Spiders can be Divas, too

Nothing like trying to create something out of your comfort zone. This week's Autonomous Artisans' challenge: spiders. First it was robots, now spiders....eeep! So I dug through my stash of vintage goodies and came up with a mink button, chandelier-crystal lady spider. Not so scary after all!

Okay. Perfect day for the spider post. I love it! A diva spider? That's just genius.

Thanks for the laugh. I woke up way too early and have to leave for my appointment in a few hours.

It's going to be a long day but at least now I will have spiders on the brain. (that's a good thing)

Loving that spider! (And I hate spiders!) Way to take on a challenge and make it into something diva-licious!

You make a compelling argument, but I am still not a fan of the arachnid, fancy tho she may be.

Love your creativity, and glad to know the button of mink is vintage and no recent deaths occured in the commission of this project... If I had spiders like yours around, I wouldn't be escorting them out! The ultimate baroque, Halloween brooch... Lateedah!
Wonderful!

I am not a great fan of spiders but I love yours! Cute and feminine all at the same time. And those deer, how wonderful that they are so brave, but I can see how it they could make you jump
: )

It is much classier than an actual spider but still might freak me out lol.

That's the only kind of spider I want to see in my house!

Sweet spider! It looks nothing like the frightening fuzzy things that hang around my house. An infestation of Diva spiders would be totally ok with me :)

Ah, very clever! I just left a note on my desk to remind myself to do this tomorrow, and I'm in the middle of cleaning out the studio so who knows what will come of it!
