Desert heat

Yesterday before it got too hot, we went for a bike ride. My Cruiser...I'm going to need a more comfortable seat!

We finally have a tiny bit of wildflower color in our yard...guess they needed the hot sun to encourage blooms. It was 97 degrees out yesterday.

Only two kinds of flowers so far...but it's going to be hot again today...so maybe some more will bloom.

I changed the window trim color on the house...I like it

Ugh, I would've died with that heat. But you managed to squeeze in a lot, so good for you! House is looking great.

Bike riding usually involves the bike being mobile. Not resting against a tree ;) & I don't see a helmet anywhere in shot? It must be on your head right? I wanted an action shot!

The house is looking fab!

It was chilly here yesterday and I was hugging a hot water bottle most of the day.Strange how quickly the weather changes.

You're house is so pretty.

Oh the weather looks amazing! London has gone back to be being dull again, it's quite frustrating, I never know what to wear!

Those little flowers are so cute..making such a happy statement..
I don't like winter, but I can't take heat that hot either..If I have a breeze, I am fine..No wonder Hawaii is my land of choice.

Yay wildflowers! My favorite part of spring is wandering the yard to see what's growing.
The trim looks great!

I'm loving your house, but what are you gonna do when summer realy comes? That kind of heat is hard to deal with.

Your bike is ADORABLE... love the basket, of course! (Did you get the bell?) And I LOVE the house color... How fab! Don't you love it?! Completely changes the look of the house... very nice Diva! And I love the rock work you did. It is very handsome; very very nice! You have really put some hard hard work into all of this. I hope you're proud of yourselves!

How funny that when it gets that hot, most people hide in the shade.. but you go for a bike ride and watch the flowers blooming in the sun! Props to ya!

hi again! Thanks for the comment...yes, I am doing more collage. I have some more of the astrological stuff and then some others. It's funny, I always struggle with the collage cards and then they sell the fastest!

Wow, from 50's to 90's in one blink of the eye huh? That is my dream lol.

One of my favorite artists has a line in a song that goes "its hard to be a gangsta with a basket on your bike" just thought of that seeing your pic :~D Is it working out for the mail collection? The house looks awesome!

The house look fantastic, just loved the colour. I wonder if I painted my house this colour, will my husband faint? probably yes, but I like it.

The last time i sat on a bike was a loooong time ago, dont know if it could take my weight now..or if i could go a few miles. I remembered the hard seat which I disliked then.

With this heat..but is it humid like here? just wondering :)
