Canyon sunset

"Come watch with me the shaft of fire that glows In yonder West: the fair, frail palaces, The fading Alps and archipelagoes, And great cloud-continents of sunset-seas."

- Thomas Bailey Aldrich

Sunset in the Crooked River Canyon, Central Oregon

Pretty, isn't it?

Gorgeous! Please tell me that's not the view from your kitchen window. I might die of jealousy - except for the part about it being a desert.
