Eight, eight, O eight

Tonight's the night for Mark's cousin Katie's wedding.

We'll be driving to our former hometown of Silverton as the wedding is being held at The Oregon Garden.

The ceremony will take place in the Market Garden....

and the reception will be down by the Bosque. Keep your fingers crossed that the thunder showers we've had for the last two days will disappear by this evening!

Ok...so this is what I'm wearing...slightly autumnal, I know. Hopefully, since the blouse is sleeveless and I'll be wearing beaded flips, it will work. Forecast is 80 degrees, 87% humidity (have I mentioned that living in the desert has its advantages...one of them being relatively no humidity....I'm going to WILT tonight) and 30% chance of rain. Haven't decided which necklace yet. The bracelet and earrings I made from bits and pieces of other jewelry. The clutch was a gift from Rebekah of Little ByRD.

How nice! A wedding in the garden..we don't usually have weddings in the garden..not with our heat and humidity. I can imagine the bride's makeup melting away under our hot sun..too bad :(

however, the garden there certainly looks beautiful :D

Everything looks lovely. They say rain is good luck-tell that to your hair and makeup! Well, I'll send out some dry weather juju and hope all turns out for the best. Have fun, and step from behind the lens at least once so we can see you too! :)
