A photo of two trees (one embracing the other) on A Cuban in London's blog reminded me of this photo I took of two juniper trees in our backyard...a living juniper tree wrapped almost completely around a dead tree.

That is beautiful..What an interesting photo..
Perfect quote for the photo. I'm a big fan of Alice Walker. So, you're the link between A Cuban in London and myself? Thanks.
I love trees. This photo is amazing! Thanks for sharing it!!!
Isn't it wonderful how Nature is so all-consuming, nothing left untouched, but beauty and grandeur on a greater scale.

super cool photo and phenomena.
Wow - look at that tree. I've never been to Oregon - I'm going to have to check it out!
Interesting tree, tks for sharing :)
Nature never ceases to amaze.
How sweet he is to hold up his old friend!
Charmaine your photo is wonderful. It is really ethereal when you tell about the living tree wrapping itself around the dead one... how interesting and sort of bittersweet. The quote you used was perfect and brought it all to life... really lovely post!
