We've been enjoying some beautiful days here in Central Oregon's High Desert. Cool at night, but the perfect-for-me temperature of upper 70's during the daytime. Simply lovely.
In my next lifetime, I intend to come back as a petite woman so I can actually wear some of the vintage clothing I covet. Here's my Indian Summer selection:
"Is it so small a thing
To have enjoy'd the sun,
To have lived light in the spring,
To have loved, to have thought, to have done..."

Great assemble! Love it all, and I hear you on the petite woman front. But there's no reason you can't use those great accessories!
I like all your picks..I have a couple of daughters that are 5'10"..
May I say, did you ever see a short model? That is what I use to tell them all the time..I hit 5'8 1/2", but I think I shrunk with my old age..ha, ha.
Oh..i love that striped dress. thanks for linking to the etsy shop !
(i still need to convert these inches in cms though)
great selection
Ooooh very nice selection! I love your fondness for red! I'm a big fan of red :)
Karen's quote below your header is wonderful. I remember reading it here a long time ago. Nice to read it again. She's so spot on & I couldn't agree more. A wise woman is the ultra-fab Karen!
That dress is absolutely adorable! I want one!!!!!
Oh wow, fantastic outfit all around! I do sometimes miss working in an office, to be able to wear outfits like this one every day. Going up and down ladders in high heels just doesn't cut it. We can comiserate together :)
Great pics! I don't think you need to be petite to pull any of these off. I bet you could rock each one, and look stunning!
I know!!! Why is it that we, with exquisite taste in vintage clothes, are stuck in bodies that won't fit in them?!
Oh Victoria...that dress needs a tiny woman...33" chest, 26" waist... definitely not my measurements. And the shoes are size 6 1/2...I wear a 10.
Willow...deplorable, isn't it?
OMG! Those are amazing! I can't blame you. I want to wear those as well.
I'm petite and it's not all that it's cracked up to be. Other than being able to squeeze through tight places, clothing really isn't made for us! Well it is if you are petite and tall. But at 5'4" and 100 pounds, I generally fit into little girl's clothing and it's a tad bit hard to wear cloths meant for a 14 year old on a 45 year old bod.
Love them glasses!!
If I get back down to pre-Bruno weight, that dress would fit me! I am in serious lust with it.
Very cute dress!
In my next life, I'm going to be tall and cellulite free :)
Oh, that DRESS. That DRESS! Love it. Absolutely love it!
lol! i was just about to type what's in the comment above: "oh that dress!"
that's a style i've always loves.
those sunglasses are pretty spiffy, too.
nice put together.
That dress is gorgeous. I love the style and the print. I have a dress in a similar style in my closet but I don't think I'll be wearing it again unless I have some organs and a couple of ribs removed.
It sure looks great in my closet, though.
That dress is to die for.
Love the juxtaposition of the stripes in the dress, very clever and flattering!
..and that red lunchbox bag!! Oh my god, it completely beats my white one!
A perfect outfit for a warm, sunny day. Love your style.
Peace, Judi
I think you would look gorgeous in all of it...that dress is to die for.
Since I never leave home anyway perhaps I can cut the back out of the dress a la hospital gown? It is very pretty!
The sunglasses are my most favorite part of the ensemble.
Tameka,
LMAO!
