Shadow Shot/Shutter Click

Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot Sunday:

 Dresser tray shadow

Tea & Honey Bread's Shutter Click & Chat: Fantasy Wardrobe Remix, One Amazing Ensemble.

I chose vintage items (with the exception of the black & white earrings).

The little black dress I would need to buy, the vintage men's black & white, checked, wool coat I've been wearing every winter since I was 18.  Yep....that's me wearing the coat in 1985.

Little black dress found here

I would have to have this bag

and both necklaces: the black & white for daytime, the red for evening

black & white earrings found here, red earrings found here

and we musn't forget shoes!  black shoes found here, red shoes found here

A nice fantasy....the reality is I rarely find vintage clothing suitable for a 5' 10" woman who wears a size 10 shoe.  Sigh.  I could always get the jewelry....

Lovely shadow shot. I'm not sure what it is? Some kind of sweet dainty little dish? With cute things inside it? Whatever it is I like the subtle shadow it cast.

And I also like that red bag! I want it! :)

Love the delicacy of your shadow! Quite intriguing!

And also love your comments that follow! Especially the last wistful one! (Sorry! I had to smile at this point! You see, I usually find if I want retro pants they are far too long legged for my mousy 5'2' height! Perhaps we should trade shops!)

Is this the Queen's tiara??? Pretty shot, now I have a question, what is this thing you speak of...a dress??? Oh yes, I remember the day. Back when (school) it was enforced and our only choice. We froze our bums off in deep snows walking to school in those silly things. Gimmee my jeans any day. But I too have those retro shots, the 'disco days', when we all wore the damn things. Can't imagine a trip to the hen house in one, but if Tasha Tudor could, hmmmm...

Just a country gal...
