Happiness

Tea & Honey Bread's Shutter Click & Chat...every Sunday...join in!

This week's topic: Happiness is...Capture a moment, past or present, when you or someone you know was happy.

My youngest sister Cherelle enjoying a caramel apple...me looking as though I'm going to snatch it away...This was probably in 1971...

...and again, summer 2008. I love this photo of my sister. She looks so happy. She just got her RN license and passed the state boards with flying colors! Bravo sistah!

"Nursing is an art: and if it is to be made an art, it requires an exclusive devotion as hard a preparation, as any painter's or sculptor's work; for what is the having to do with dead canvas or dead marble, compared with having to do with the living body, the temple of God's spirit? It is one of the Fine Arts: I had almost said, the finest of Fine Arts."

~ Florence Nightingale

Postscript:
Just received this photo from my world traveler friend Jenn...

...had to include it as she looks so happy to be in Switzerland. Grüezi!

Florence Nightingale was one of my heros growing up. Now there was a strong willed woman who put her all into everything, touched a million lives and truly made a difference in the hearts of so many. I have total faith that Cherelle will do the same as a newly licensed RN. Good for her! You do both look happy in both photos (as does Jenn, that's the 3rd 2 N Jenn I have read about today, cool!). As far as the decor...well most of it is back in style again :)

Oh fun! Kevin took a few pictures of my dad and I on the beach this weekend, but most of them didn't turn out too well... because we were looking right into the sun and it was killing my eyes!! But we did manage to get one good one... yay! I should do a post on my blog here in a bit.

Were you really a food thief?! Haha. Too funny. Cherelle does look very happy, and good for her. Nursing is a calling more than a career. I'm glad she was called, she looks like a warm and special woman.

I want to go to Switzerland too-what's the economy like travel buddy?!

Great pictures of you and your sister, and who wouldn't be smiling surrounded by all that Swiss beauty! (It's so nice to know that so much pristine beauty still remains in this world!)
