Smith Rock

A weekend drive...

leads us to the rocks in the distance.

State parks are pretty amazing places, Smith Rock State Park is no exception. Located just 10 miles from our house...lucky us.

Now this is my kinda country! I love walking in the high deserts, walked all over Colorado, stepping over snakes and scorpions all the way...never been to Oregon though...I'll bring my hiking boots and the granola bars.

Beautiful! Looked like a perfect day weather-wise also for rock climbing. I'm thinking you didn't climb the rock though. Just admired it ;)
