Car ride
A few months ago, back when gas was still astronomically priced, Mark and I drove his little commuter car south...we wanted to explore this area we now call home. We drove some Forest Service roads up to a lake, and then to The Big Flow. Obsidian.
I'm not much of a car person...(does that little car even have shocks?) I don't really enjoy road trips, unless I know this will be the final destination...

I love car rides! When I was a kid, mom would take me on journies. We would start out and have no idea where we were going. We would just end up somewhere exploring along the way. It was so much fun!
Beautiful view of the lighthouse! Looks like the car ride, (even without shock absorbers) was worth the trip. How sweet that pup likes a car ride! My Mo takes great pleasure in them, too!
Me and Scratchy are truckers, so a ride is always within our reach. That is one thing I miss about the 'X', we used to take long rides everywhere...but Scratch is a good substitute, she doesn't smoke and never complains...ha!
Trux is just the most beautiful dog...good choice and a faithful companion he looks.

Boy do dogs love car rides! I sometimes refer to my car as our dog house on wheels! lol.
Go Trux Go! My Kana only likes to go in the car if there's a fun destination at the other end, the park, the beach, etc.
Lovely photos as usual and of course that dog looks mighty friendly and having a jolly good time.

I love lighthouses too & I love car trips! When I was small, I used to throw up in cars though. Now I'm not small, I don't throw up in cars & so, I love car trips.
My dog loves car rides too! She yaps all the way! Happy yapping...but very annoying if it's a long trip!
