Sights of the season

Tea & Honey Bread's Shutter Click & Chat: Sights of the season

'Tis the season for many different celebrations & beliefs...
I believe in Santa Claus.

Santa Claus is anyone who loves another and seeks to make them happy;
who gives himself by thought or word or deed in every gift that he bestows;
who shares his joys with those who are sad;
whose hand is never closed against the needy;
whose arm is ever outstretched to aid the week;
whose sympathy is quick and genuine in time of trouble;
who recognizes a comrade and brother in every man he meets upon life's common road;
who lives his life throughout the entire year in the Christmas spirit.

Oh, how I love the santas in the bottom photo. I have a collection of them and my favorites are the folkart santas that carry trees. Lovely.

My sister-in-law Nancy made me the tiny stocking out of vintage fabric, lace & buttons. I adore it!

Love your holiday photos, especially the Santa collection. I've a little collection of snowmen that I'll probably post later today.

I also love the Santa quote. That's what I think about all the time when thinking of that question, "Do you believe in Santa Claus." So many people don't believe, and even tell their kids not to believe. It's a shame that they don't take that opportunity to tell them just what that quote says.
