I just think we work on the same wave lengths...this is the thing I love the most about Christmas...the day after. When the calm hits, a sense of peace and quiet takes hold, as the New Year is so close at hand, we can take the time to reflect on the changes we promise to make.
Have a wonderful day in your high desert calm...beautiful!
A very beautiful photo!! Nice when the sun shines between the trees! Now, I have put a site translator on my blog as you wished. Did´nt know that it was possible. Really nice that other than swedes can read my blog! :) Thank you for the link. Wish you a nice weekend and cheers from me!!
Beautiful! Silence is indeed an oft-underrated gift. I'm languishing in solitude today and it's just what I asked of Santa. I hope your holiday was perfectly peaceful.
What a fantastic quote! I might have to snag this one & tape it up to my monitor. Beautiful picture, any additional snow predicted for the end of the year?
Enjoy your quiet & peace as you look out on the scene :)
I had to play catch-up with your blog. I loved your quotes, and the Miss America outfit is DIVINE!!!
I used to have to make my own dress up clothes, usually it would be one of my grandmother's slips and a pair of her high heals. Needless to say ... a couple of 5-7 year olds dressed like that looked more like street walkers than miss americas!!
So true, literally and metaphorically. I yearn to see those mountains in the distance. Beautiful capture of a quite moment. Come back again to OWL blog, I hope we can share a bit of our lives. Your quotes are inspirational!

If I had a view like that outside my window, in any weather, I would consider myself very lucky indeed. So beautiful!

What a beautiful blog -- thanks for making it!
It is a gorgeous photo, but it makes me want to leap into my computer and start making snow angels!
