Something sparkly

To wear for New Year's Eve....this dress

To drink...most definitely this glorious champagne

chilled to perfection in this fab ice bucket

and served in these glasses...they have bells in the bottom...perfect for ringing in the New Year!

Be safe tonight!

"Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true."

~ Alfred, Lord Tennyson

All lovely selections for a night of flashy, fancy partying that's for sure! Here however we are expected to get snow (about 6+ inches at that) so in order to stay warm I think I will forego the beautiful dress & heels for sweats and fleece lined boots ;~) Definitely picking up a bottle of that champagne though...

You & Mark have a super safe, warm, fun and healthy celebration tonight and here's to another year of awesomeness in 2009 :)

Wow, I was going to say "Love those shoes!", and then I got to the glasses... I MUST have those! What fun to ring in the New and help and angel get his wings while getting toasted! ((Uh, I meant toast-ING).

Happy New Year - I'm so happy to have made so many wonderful friends this year,

What a lovely evening you'll have. I'm not much for dressing up that much, but, I would drink that lovely, expensive Champagne with you and night of the year! Happy 2009! I have been enjoying your blog! Susan
