Winter wonderland

We've had our first heavy snowfall of the season...the world around me is blanketed in white. It is 3 (three!) degrees outside. I am grateful for my propane stove...it is keeping the house warm.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
in the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
we're happy tonight,
walking in a winter wonderland.

Gone away is the bluebird,
here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
as we go along,
walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say: Are you married?
we'll say: No man,
But you can do the job
when you're in town.

Later on, we'll conspire,
as we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
the plans that we've made,
walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,
and pretend that he's a circus clown
We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman,
until the other kids knock him down.

When it snows, ain't it thrilling,
Though your nose gets a chilling
We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
walking in a winter wonderland.

Walking in a winter wonderland,
walking in a winter wonderland.

Brrrrr...baby it's cold outside, one of them nostril freezin' days, yesterday 54 and today...I ain't gonna talk about it.

I finally found the cloche pics, I'll get them off soon...love the pic of Trux in the mountains. I miss the days in Colorado when me and my Irish Setter and Blue Healer would spend days walking the trails in the high country...now that's what I call campin'.

Isn't the snow beautiful! There's more on the way too! I could stand for it to be a little warmer though :) It's actually gotten up to a sweltering 12 over here in Prineville :)

3 degrees?! That's scary...I'm not used to that anymore. But snow, now snow would be nice.

Hey C, I know that song...singing it in my head halfway..didnt manage to finish it though :) Wow..3 degree..I really dont think I can survive there, when its 16 celcius..and I am already freezing..but would be fun to have snow once.

It never snowed in Malaysia where I live. It's cold, I know. I spent 6 years in CA. which is supposed to be a warm place. Still, when it snowed, brrrr ...

Brrrrr. I hope you are staying inside and keeping cuddly warm. It was around 24 here yesterday but with some horrible winds - I went outside to try to snap a few photos for Etsy and lasted all of 4 minutes. Too cold.

3 degrees? I'll stick to appreciating snow from pictures of it thanks. That's far too cold for me! Rug up & keep warm :)
