Although winter is far from my favorite season there is something very true about that quote from Ruth Stout. We do tend to tuck in and just enjoy each other, smells from delicious cooked meals and the company of close friends & family at this time of year. Wish we had your woodstove, I bet it brings even more coziness to your space while watching the falling snow :)

It's perfect that you posted this, because I was just telling Kevin the other day that oddly enough, I kind of miss winter. There is such a calm and peace and quiet about it, and I love. I don't miss shoveling snow, or any of that... haha... but there's something about snow that's just beautiful.
