Fashion

A post on this blog (Here, There, Elsewhere and More) regarding vintage fashion photography had me checking out another site showing the work of publishing giant Conde Nast's photographer, John Rawlings.

I adore fashion photography! It can inspire me to no end sometimes. The magazine, Zink, has some marvelous editorial photos. I'll buy that mag just to look at the photos.

Vogue Patterns has brought back some of their 1920s-1950s vintage looks. Some of the 1950s frocks are fabulous and accessible for anyone handy with a needle and thread. Plus, the patterns can be ordered online at voguepatterns.com - happy sewing!

Many vintage lovers out there! Thanks for posting this and all the photos were lovely. I don't have the shape for that fashion anymore, but have a few vintage coats and hats left in my "collection"...

I bought my "little black dress" at a vintage clothing shop. It's crepe de chine and it has ostrich feathers around the hem. I love vintage clothes!
