Gosh you have a huge backyard! Lovely big trees. I bet Trux has a ball running around in that space. Very nice shadow shots. I'm thinking that you are still away at the beach & this post was maybe scheduled, so I'll pop your link in Mr Linky now. Hope you're having fun splashing around in the waves. Weird time to be going to the beach being winter over there. You crazy Americans ;)

Makes me miss my yard(I mean slope)in the Rockies. To be able to walk in your own lil' refuge and hear the silence.

Hope you had a wonderful, inspirational drive yesterday!

When we were looking for property in Central Oregon, Mark was adamant we find a place with large juniper trees. So often the juniper here is short and stubby. We got lucky. Our brother-in-law is a forester...he says some of the trees on our property are 500-1000 years old.

Take lots of pictures on the beach - Trux should love the sand and water!

I love old trees. Our quaint little trees are pleasant, but old trees have stories to tell.

Veddy cool photos!!! Gorgeous really. I wish I could take decent pictures. Mine are always out of focus, or off center ... I'm a horrible photog.

Your trees are magnificent. They remind me of the old trees in the forest of the Fellowship of the Ring series. So wise, standing sentry over your property.

Your photos feel both cold and warm, I love the long shadows. Are you chipping away at that creative block...with the photos? It brings new meaning to working with you "shadow side". (Not making fun; just trying to make you smile!)

It looks like you're living on the "Ponderosa". Don't you feel lucky to have so many trees? They're fabulous for SSS.
