What a beautiful view - I am in Portland and I wish we could see Jefferson from here. Do have a nice view of Hood and St. Helens though. They seem so exotic, snow-capped mountains hiding out in the desert!

Wow. What a shot!

I know just where to come when I'm missing the sun and pines and blue sky! Lovely photo and the words of John Muir are perfect.

Oh, that photo is so beautifully evocative I can almost imagine smelling the fresh air!
How wonderful to live near the mountains. So pretty :)
I miss the mountains and the pines...very peaceful.
It IS a beautiful day. Love that view!! ♥
Your mountains there are something out of fiction. They rise up out of the middle of nowhere and take your breath away. LOVE THEM. Awed by them.
John Muir - a favorite hero of mine. He never lived to see Hetch Hetchy restored but I hope it happens in my life time. What a worthy and rich man.

love the new profile head shot
I love John Muir...and that quote...and that beautiful photo!!

How GORGEOUS! Where is it exactly, near where you live?
Bureau of Land Management property about 5 miles from our house in the high desert of Central Oregon.
It's snowing here again today -- thanks for that little bit of sunshine!
WooHoo! The sun is shining AGAIN this morning! How long do you think it will last? I am so ready for spring :)
Wonderful photo and I love the John Muir quote--both very close to my heart.
