I just left her some love, thanks for letting us know. I hope there are lots of balls for Kana to play with over the rainbow bridge.

What is it about our lil' furry terrorists that make our hearts melt...I think in our human society, we have forced this creature into unnatural surroundings and to some of us that guilt remains...who's to say we have made life better for them, sure, they live longer, but at what expense. They would've died in the wild of natural causes doing what is natural, thus culling the pack of sickly and weak animals.

Are we as smart as we think we are...Scratchy is definitly the leader of the pack at my house...lil' shit!!!

Thanks Charmaine, for letting me know about this. Just read the post and the wonderful story of how they came to be together. My heart aches for her loss.

My beloved Maggie the Airedale Terrier died two years ago. Yesterday we saw an Airedale on a walk in dog-loving Sarasota (one of about 50 dogs we saw that day) and I started tearing up....

off to give condolences.

It's heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet/friend. We lost our 15 year-old cat and 10-year-old golden retriever one right after the other. :-(

There is a reason they call these creatures of love man's best friend. Unconditional love...so special.

Oh, it's so HEARTBREAKING to lose such a faithful and loving friend as a dog... Kana looked like a dog with a lot a personality, what expressive eyes... I send Judi all my love, really.

I'm so sorry for her loss. It's rough losing the best kind of family members. What a great friend you are posting this on her behalf. Kana's in Heaven playing with my Freddy and Ricky :)
