Sweet

Have you been to Sweet Repose?

Scratchy will win your heart.

But Sharon is the artful blogger...

and the queen of junkin'.

I haven't been able to find a frame (locally)
 for a commissioned project,
so I emailed my blogging buddy...and sure enough,
she found not one, but two.
I'm going with the squarish frame...(Scratchy approved).
Update:  I just bought the other one, too!
Sharon is also the creative genius behind
The Fabric of Sweet Repose, her online shop
where she sells her own line of jewelry
soy candles
glycerin and lye soaps
lampshades
and the newly created doll head night lights
(not to mention fab antique finds...love the Goofus glass)

Did I mention she's also a poet?
Talented woman!

You are too good to me...I always say 'it takes one to know one'...

Us artists just don't have enough time in the day to do all the fun stuff our heads conjure up...we just need one more day in the week that nobody else gets...right!

My secret true love is sketching bird studies in pencil, some day in retirement(whatever), I will sit in my rocker on the front porch of the pink shack...er chateau...and draw to my hearts content...some day...

Thanks again friend!

Wow talented indeed! But before anything else -- you have a commissioned project right now? Woo hoo!!! Kudos girl, that's so great :)

I really love everything but could not imagine the baby head night light in my house, would freak me out but definitely very creative reuse :)

OMGOSH! I am so very flattered you chose to follow me! THANK you. What a nice morning surprise. :)

And I have many girlfriends who would rather have root canals than go camping. The closest they ever hope to get to roughing it is slow room service. You all just DON'T know what you're missing! Oh WAIT!
Maybe I'm telling you in my story over there!

P.S. Can't wait to check out Sweet Repose. And will we get to see your work once it is in the frame? I would LOVE that.
