Baskett Slough

A pretty spot to stop and stretch one's legs, (not to mention letting Trux get out of the car to run around) Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge just West of Salem, Oregon

Mt. Hood in the distance
Canadian geese...everywhere

Part of our road trip on the way home from the coast...a little more than a four hour drive.

You up so early already :P
Nice picture, love the water and the sky and it's funny how I always end up seeing animals..like here geese, though I cant see it clearly...on the laptop. What I meant was living in the town, we hardly see any animals..except the normal household ones.

This is just right down the road from where my Grandpa lives and where my Dad grew up. Can you believe I have never been here though? Very pretty.

Wow! Clicking on the second picture to enlarge was such a revelation. Those little specks on the water are all geese....lots and lots of geese!

So, love birds... How was the 18th anniversary? What did you do at the beach? Practice your Italian?
Certo... Congratulate Mark on the stained/wrought iron commissioned piece to cover someone's thermostat cover. May others follow...
