Thank you for bringing back wonderful memories of Lucca. In fact, we had a dear friend here in Australia who came from Lucca - sadly he died many years ago. We are off to Europe in August/September and are particularly looking forward to our time in Italy.
I want to stroll in the shadows in Lucca! I think I'll try sneaking myself into Robyn's (Hot Fudge) luggage when she takes off for Europe. Don't tell her of my plans ;)

I can see what the allure of this lil' village is, I'd want to go back again and again...such ancient romance...and the sun!!!
I can just imagine sitting under a tree in the shade, being read to and fed grapes by some romantic Italian...
