It is always fun to meet people you've been virtually "talking to" for months. In this case, I met both of them when Mark & I drove to Eastern Washington in March for Suzanne's Sweet on Spring nursery sale. But it's always fun to see people in your own hometown....show it off a bit.
Tuesday morning we headed to Bend for a shopping trip. We were gone for eleven hours. First stop Pomegranate, a charming antique/home decor store.
Then we headed downtown for hours of shopping and lunch.
Finally, we hit the Mill Quarter Design District.
Pillow inspiration for Carla at Haven Home Style
Eye candy for Suzanne at Evergreen Plantscapes....
we stumbled across this shop as we were headed to the car-
an excellent finale!
They're leaving this morning for their 7 hour drive home.

Finally, a shout out to my sister, Cherise
Happy Birthday!
41 looks good on you!

Looks like the high desert has been a hotbed of activities - a new ramada taking shape, guest from away and a shopping spree. Wonderful!

eleven hour of shopping? Sounds like a brilliant day, it looks like Bend has some wonderful shops
: )
What fun! A month and a half ago, I travelled to NYC to meet 3 bloggers I'd been "talking to" for a year and a half. They are great. In fact, a bunch are getting together in VA for the VA Blog Fest to be held in Mathews.
LOVE the "Plantscape" store, thanks for sharing your other finds!
Looks like so much fun..11 hours? WOW! I would love to meet so many of the virtual friends I've gotten to know..lucky you.
Happy Birthday to Cherise...she is beautiful..you two look like sisters ;)
Well....thanks! I try convincing people we're twins but no one ever believes me! She's blonde, blue-eyed and thin. We actually look nothing alike......
What a fun trip!! 11 hours shopping sounds good to me :P Happy birthday to your sister, Cherise..
Charmaine,
Thank you again for opening your home to us and for the grand tour of the High Desert. I loved seeing your town, your creativity and a most beautiful part of the west. You and Mark are wonderful people who add so much to the world.
You are indeed a Diva !
Thanks Suzanne.
We loved having you.
Come again!
