Tyler's coming

We've been hosting parties, friends and relatives all summer. On Saturday, we had our first party of the fall season when the High Desert Design Council came over for a BBQ.

Tomorrow my cousin Tyler is arriving.
(Tyler with my sister, Cherise-2008)

This will be his first visit to our desert home....sadly, rain and cool temperatures are expected this week. Puts a crimp in my scenic tour plans....

What to do to entertain a 31 year old for a couple days.....

Ugh...nothing worse than bad weather when you want to do things outside....food, music, indoor attractions???

Good luck

Brew pubs are good ... so are:
High Desert Museum
Hiking (weather permitting)
Live Music at the many venues in Bend
Suttle Lake & all the other lakes
Sisters
Mt. Bachelor
Scenic drives
Eating out at the many restaurants
... and more brew pubs!

Helen,
We're hitting Bend on Wednesday. Probably do many of the things you've listed! Thanks.....

Well, If he weren't your cousin I could think of a few ways but since he is, they would all be highly inappropriate!
(Just kidding!)
Enjoy your visit!

That's wonderful you've been entertaining this past summer - a treat for all concerned and a chance for you to share the beautiful home you've created with your loved ones.

At 31, I'm sure I'd want to shop and see some sights. Weather wouldn't be an issue. Bring it on!

At 40, I'd want to sit and chat, relax, have light meals and drink (coffee or wine, depending on the time of day).

Ah...looks like a great guy that would enjoy a good time doing just about anything even if the rain and cool puts a crimp on some of the outside activities!

Get soaked in the rain! Put your wellies on and go out on your lovely garden! :-)

Greetings from London.
