Um. Yeah! I love this color, too. Actually, I'm wondering if I can squeeze it into my new foyer- I think right against the terra cotta could be really eye-catching.
Are you reading my mind? I saw this color on a wall at my local Anthropologie and fell in love. I want to paint the sitting area off the kitchen this color.
I've never heard of Yolo paint...can you tell I live in the boonies? Gorgeous color..makes everything pop including making the furniture warm and inviting. Good choice!
Yolo was invented by two women from Portland, OR. Not available everywhere...YET. Sadly, it doesn't look like its available in ND at all. You'd have to order online.
My previous house was a victorian city home with a huge living room. That was my wall color. Everything looked good with it, everything popped. That color won't cut it in my current home, but I still miss it!
My next door neighbors live in a 1700s farmhouse with that color in their foyer area. It makes such a great statement, especially against all the rustic wood floors and trim. Apparently, it's even historically correct they say (and one's an architect and they flip homes for a living.) I was surprised by that.
Hey thare :) Not sure why you cd not load..I tried and it's ok..hopefully it will be ok for you too as we are having the most colourful celebration here....and overflow of colours and missing you too :)
Now, that is one colour that screams for attention..I am not a huge fan of strong colours but this one really stand out, especially the last picture. Happy week Diva..love,hugs..kisses and all /M

Fabulous paint.

It's gorgeous, alas I'll have to live vicariously as well. Migraines keep me from enjoying too much color. Banished to bland land, I am.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Oh yeah. Now that I've been up to my eyeballs in paint for the past month, I'm acutely aware of color. This is a beaut!

I think I'm afraid of color.
I live in such a small space. I know that color might actually help.
But I'm still doing the serene, cream thang. It's so passe.
I think color might confine the space and draw attention to the edges instead of allowing your eye to fail to perceive the edge of the wall.
Tips? Tricks?
Charmaine,
Start with the smallest room in your house. Invest $45 in a can of good paint (Yolo), and saturate the room with color.
Cheap experiment.
You'll love it.
You said you like the photo of my bedroom and bathroom, right? Both rooms are saturated (walls & ceiling) with color.
We share the same name. Trust me.
You are so cool. This color is divine!
It's absolutely gorgeous!
