Home shadows - evening

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before."

That's a neat shot with the reflection in the mirror.

Did you forget to pay your electricity bill? ;) Clever shot!

Re my green cafe shot: all the green on the ground was reflected from the green and yellow ceiling. The ceiling was some kind of perspex I think. It wasn't very clear in the photo but the whole cafe had a green glow to it. It made me think of a nuclear power plant. I guess I'm just not part of the cool set that appreciates that kinda thing...

Spooky! I'm trying to figure out what lurks there in the shadows.

Very Poe-ish setting and I'm such a scaredy cat that I would venture no further!

My brain didn't register the reflection - I saw it as an opening and a look beyond.

Being a person who has never been completely comfortable in the dark, this great shot of yours gives me a little shudder down the spine!

Then this darkling view beguiling my shy fancy into smiling,
By its grave and stern decorum, as I hastened to the door.

I shall return here, nevermore.

Cheers!
