Blog update

Many thanks to my uber talented virtual blogger pal Chelsea for updating the look of my blog!

I stole this photo from her Facebook page...

and then went to her blog to lift her business cards to show off. I think this two-sided card is one of the best I've ever seen.

Nifty, eh?

The typewriter and checkered dress on the business card are almost identical to Caroline Moore's photography, for sale on Etsy at sixhoursphotography. I admire her work, too.

Hello Anonymous,

Yes it is. I purchased the similar photograph from Caroline several years ago, because I used to have nearly that exact dress, and I was just crazy about the photo. She gave me permission to use her image as my logo. Last year I contacted Caroline and asked her permission to recreate the image using myself as the model, as I own the same typewriter, and was tired of explaining to people that it was not me in the photo. She said yes, and even said she would have loaned me the dress if she still had it. Caroline is a very talented and wonderfully gracious person, and I admire her work more than most people, I'd say!
