Through the car window

Whitman County, Eastern Washington.

“The fight to save family farms isn't just about farmers. It's about making sure that there is a safe and healthy food supply for all of us. It's about jobs, from Main Street to Wall Street. It's about a better America.”

~ Willie Nelson

I see it over and over again here in Iowa...unscrupulous developers buy up the old properties for a song and turn them into rows of cheap houses that all look the same.

Up the road from me is a lumber mill, everyday that I drive by I'm reminded of how each of these prime ancient oaks will be turned into lumber and sent to foreign companies, while the second grade lumber remains in the states.

GREED!!!It engulfs the world!

What a beautiful scene with that arched bridge off to the side and fertile fields - hope you're having a wonderful time!

That is an excellent quote and so true. The pic is gorgeous and I would love to visit the area, so scenic!
