Exercise in futility

I planted flowers.
Or, as my husband says, I planted deer food.

I just needed some color.

Maybe if there was a collective chant from the blogosphere, the deer would stay away...

Aren't there any plants/flowers they don't like?! I completely understand the need for a pop of color-it's the bane of desert dwelling. I'm seding deer-be-gone thoughts your way.

There's a bunch of plants that are "deer resistant". Problem is, the desert deer eat EVERYTHING.

I'm thinking you're married to an iron worker. Can't he make some sort of decorative buy functional cage? Something that barrels around the plants. It's in my head. If you want sketches I need to have another beer.
