  2. Good ol' Ben, true words of wisdom though...and a comfy place to sit the afternoon away.

  3. The shadow is a nice warm accent to a wonderfully cozy and comfortable room. The table and leather sofa combine with the lighting to make a nice place to linger and converse...

  6. Interesting shot. The shadows both emphasize and break the objects on which they fall...

  7. Lovely, warm shot. By the way, I recently discovered that my great grandfather's name was Benjamin Franklin Hicks - strange name for an Australian. However, his father came from Tennessee during the gold rush, so I guess that explains it.

  9. Love the light from the window, all it needs is a cat to soak up the sun. But then, you would have fur all over the lovely pillow.

  17. An apt quote!
I need to mediate on this since I do imagine awful things which may not happen at all.

I think I would love your house.
Hope all is well with you?

  21. Ah, to pick up a book and a cup of tea and curl up on that sofa, with my head on the sun-warmed pillow! :-)

(I saw you comment on Willow's - I enjoyed "finding" you again!)
