Hiking the canyons

We hiked both canyons this weekend.

Deschutes...


and Crooked River.

They are only about 6 miles apart, but so different in appearance.

Trux - elated to be off leash.

A little further along...

that's what I keep going for...the view of the water.

  7. I sooooo miss walking the high country of Colorado, you make me homesick.

    I owned an Irish setter and a blue healer at the time and boy did they love to run, chasing goats and tarmagon...those were the days!!!
