A hike

This juniper tree is struggling...lots of moss, but only one branch still living.

Playing spot the dog.
Nearing the canyon.
We can hear the water by this point...
and finally, the Deschutes.

    Trux blends in! Even looking for his pink tongue, I never spotted him. Love how the river looks like a velvet ribbon.

    Looks like a great hike. Is it really steep? I had to really really look for the dog. Only found it with the pink tongue hint from another comment.

    We didn't hike down to the water, so we managed a flat walk/hike.
