Love the casual cleverness of this pallet daybed with the door as headboard/backrest. And I can't even begin to tell you how happy the collection of paper lanterns and flowers makes me!

I agree - that pallet bed is awesome! I think I'd add a nice colorful ruffled bed skirt that could be switched out depending on the season - something crisp for summer and a heavy velvet for winter.
We must be on the same wavelength - I was just looking at sources for paper lanterns last night, wondering if we should add some to our Etsy store!
GW,
A skirt would soften up the whole look of the bed, wouldn't it?
I like the cubby aspect of the pallet though. Especially for a kids room. (This is in a nursery if you can believe it.) Think of all the fun, little goodies a kid could stash there.
I'll be interested to see what you come up with as far as paper lanterns!
I'm not really a napper, but these are very tempting!
Love them all!!!
I am so doing a daybed on my lil' back porch...a girl needs her beauty rest, right...
Reading this post makes me want to snuggle in for a nap. LOVE that pallet bed!

That first bed! I could just look at the picture and easily feels it's softness.
Oh, I could throw myself on any of these fabulous day beds right now! :-)
These all look so comfy! Hope you guys are doing well over there.
Talk to you later,
Kathleen
The second one is my fave. Off topic a bit, but I was born in the wrong era...I would so love to have my own bed!
Nice, anyone of that will fit nicely in my home :)
Love your blog and love the day beds!
