Misery

Migraine:

A migraine headache is a severe pain felt on one, and sometimes, both sides of the head. The pain is mostly in the front around the temples or behind one eye or ear. Besides pain, you may have nausea and vomiting, and be very sensitive to light and sound. Migraine can occur any time of the day, though it often starts in the morning. The pain can last a few hours or up to one or two days.

Do you have a migraine today? I hope not, but if you do (since I get them constantly) try hot steamy cloths up to your nose and covering your eyes to the brow bone. Breathe in only steam as much as you can for several re-soakings of the cloth. It seems to help ease the sick feeling. I smell citrus--actually magnolia blossoms--right before I get a migraine, and see flashes of light on my left side. Hope you are okay and just wrote about it to 'inform'....

I'm sending like 50 Excederin & some black out shades your way girl! Mine generally start as tension headaches but move up & over my head. Once they reach the front I see spots & get sick feeling if i can't lie down. Mostly I just cry & drink a LOT of water which helps some. hope you feel better soon :)

It started at 3am...by 5 I was hugging the porcelain throne and dry heaving...that was fun.

2nd round of Zomig seems to be doing the trick. At least I'm vertical now.

I hate migraines

I hope you're feeling better! I've had one too for the past couple of days. Mine are usually caused by our drastically changing weather.
