I bought the table I use as my desk at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in LA. Love the legs. The computer station is made from a radiator cover as the base, and an old door for the top. We purchased both at Aurora Mills Architectural Salvage, painted and assembled....easy.
We purchased sliding fabric panels from Ikea to use as closet doors. Irritatingly, we neglected to notice one package had been opened and returned, so we were unable to hang the second panel as all the pieces weren't there. Grrrrr! Ikea is a 4 hour drive from here.

Hey, my workspace is a bright green color too!! :D I love that book case. Another find from that importer?
Nope...Mark made the bookcase for me when we were dating a hundred years ago :)
Wow! Your remodel looks fantastic!
That looks fabulous. I hope my new space comes out as well. I think I see an Ikea trip in my future. (I'll be sure to check for missing pieces even though ours is only an hour away).
What a lovely room...great job!
I am right now taking a break from painting MY paneling, which looks just like your 'before' shot.
Your makeover is delightful! Isn't it wonderful that our art spills over into almost all we do! My workspace is the den I share with my husband which we call "Casblanca Meets Bankok"!
WHAT a transformation, Diva! Wow! Too bad MTV has already had "Trailor Fabulous" as a design show concept. Love the color, which must be one that makes you happy and soothed. So perfect for you. The desk you made is killer! My workspace is soooo small that anything with legs looks like heaven! You deserve all of this. Glad to see it's coming together so well for you.

Great remodel! I love your closet "doors" and the cover on your chair - so pretty!
Beautiful job! I always try to check for opened boxes... and miss sometimes. The positive flip side is those stores *always* take returns.
have you finished the remodel?
With the exception of the little things (that seem huge) like painting all the doors and trim...we are finished with the remodel. (on the inside...this spring/summer we're replacing the siding, repainting and landscaping.)
I also have two vintage (ceiling) light fixtures that need to be rewired before we can replace the Home Creepo specials.
Looking good, love all the elements and how you have put them together. Can't wait until I finally will tackle my own remodel as I am in desperate need for a more inspiring space.
Mark's a keeper!
gorgeous remodel! amazing job, I want to come over and play! :)
Wow, this an inspiring make-over :) Bravo!
I love the color of your studio. I can't believe how different it looks. Did you have to tear down all that wood panel? Our living room is all wood panel and so dark and tacky I hate it. But we can't remodel because we're only renting :(
