Baby Shower Book

The baby shower I'm hosting is tomorrow. I wanted something cute to catalog the gifts received and remembered I had this empty journal. But it really needed jazzing up...I added the inside of the invitation to the first page. Then I cut some pressed flower paper to the size of the cover, glued on a piece of satin ribbon, and then glued down the flower paper to hide the end of the ribbon. (Repeating the process on the back cover.)

On the inside, I added vintage book images from Doe-C-Doe, and on separate pages, the name and address of each guest who attended. I'll write down the gift each guest brought on the page with their name, making it easy for the mama-to-be to send out thank-you cards. (address removed for privacy)

And finally, I added a vintage stork/baby image to the front cover (courtesy A'Musements), tied the ribbon....voila!
