Nostalgia

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic about our old house again. Tomorrow I leave for the Valley....a packed 4 days. Visiting with my mom, meeting with a client to furniture shop in Portland, seeing my friends from Silverton and hosting a baby shower.

This photo was taken in the back yard of our home in Silverton on one of our rare snow days.

We helped tear down an old building on Mark's sister's property, salvaged the wood, and built this garden shed. We used salvaged windows, too. Mark built both the arbor and the picket fence based on my drawings.
See here for pictures of this area during the blooming season.

Gosh you have a really busy weekend! All I've got is a 7 yrs old's birthday party. I think I would be nostalgic for this home, too... heart and soul!

That's a nice picture. It has a soothing effect, especially since you'll be on turbo charge this weekend.
