Landscaping

A prompt from my sister, Chantele...(I'm on the left, then Chantele & Cherise...circa 1971...don't you love the boots?)

What's going on with our landscaping project? Wishing it looked like this....

when, in fact, nothing has changed yet.

I met with the landscape designer a couple weeks ago....we're eagerly awaiting plans. Then....we'll be moving dirt, and rock, figuring out a new (drip) sprinkler system and planting drought and fire resistant plants that hopefully the deer won't think are dinner.

I'm sorry about the slow progress of the landscaping. The first picture is sooooo lovely. I can't wait to see the acutal results.

Look at you sassy gals!
I am coveting that orb. I know just where I'd put it.
I hope your plans will be ready before the heat of summer kicks in!

Incredible photo! Love it! Cherise looks like she's plotting some kind of cheeky trick to play on you & Chantele! She looks very mischievious...could be the boots...

I've been in hiding ;)

Much like cicada studio, I am also coveting that orb. I've never been a huge fan of the orbs actually but that picture makes me want one more than ever.

What a cute photo! I'm a little older than you girls--my boots were the shorter white "go-go" ones when I was that age :) Good luck finding plants the deer won't eat!

Yup, good luck on the deer issue. They destroyed my burning bush plants over the winter. We have to re-evaluate every spring and try new stuff. Thanks for throwing in the that pic of us 3 little hotties....what is next halloween costumes????

All good things come to those who wait :) It will be all the more fantastic for the extra time spent planning!

You gals are adorable, boots & all!

Is the "landscape designer" the one in the back, the one that's eating, or the one inside watching the two outside? I'm confused.:-)
You should do something similar to the picture you showed; how wonderful! LOVE the ball waterfeature(?) or scultural piece(?) Architectural elements would be nice too.
As long as there is no mowing, rocks I hear are easy to grow.

I'm sure your garden will look better than the orb picture ;-) Gardens take time!! It will come together beautifully i'm sure :-)

everything takes so much longer than you think it will. sigh....but such is life. but i think it's coming along nicely. and you have your vision. that is the most important thing.

You goal garden is incredible. I had no idea desert gardens could look like that. I foresee great things happening in your yard.

I don't mind the deer in my yard because they do all the gardening for me....

And they work for cheap.
