Ever seen a professional photoshoot?
It's not as glamorous as it sounds. For 12 hours on Monday, my house was chaos. National photographer Philip Clayton Thompson, and stylist
Donna Pizzi were here to photograph my house.
Lights, tripods, lenses, battery packs, reflectors, extension cords everywhere.
Can't wait to show you the photographs!

Too-o exciting!! :)
Yeah not glamorous. Professional photo & film shoots are plain tedious to observe. The results make it all worthwhile. I'm betting they've created magic! Can't wait to see the photos!!!
Wow - a photo shoot of your own house! Soon, you will find people driving by slowly just like they do in Beverly Hills! Are the photos for a publication - can't wait to see the end result!
I just saw your responses, thanks SO VERY MUCH! Terrific -- I can not wait to get these photos now, dying to get your interview posted :)
I was on a spot for a local TV news magazine once many years ago. The spot when aired was literally 20 seconds long but it took well over 3 hours to film. Looks like a similar experience in your house. Wait until you get those pictures though, it will have been so worth it!!!
...but I am sure the result will be FANTASTIC, so exciting!!! I want to see them now :)
Can't wait to see them! What is it for?
I'm dying to see the final results! Having done "shoots" of my own house, tho in hardly such a professional manner, I know too well the shifting of stuff to and fro the areas you're shooting. The house becomes a mess just so you can take a satisfactory pic of the corner of the bathroom!
Well, it looks amazingly exciting. So happy for you that you've got this opportunity!
I am so not surprised your house is getting a photoshoot! .. everytime you show us little bits of your house, I always think how lovely it is!
oh exciting! Can't wait to see the finihed pictures.
: )
It's fun though, isn't it? I always get a kick to see how they "see things" that are so personal to you and in ways you don't. What fun---share, share!
thats awesome!!! I cant wait to see your photo shoot!!!
How neat! I can hardly wait to see the photos :)
I am sure it will be a Fab shoot. Alot of talent in that room. I am looking forward to the photos. I'm loving Marks Ironwork too. Happy Trails.

Can't wait to see the photos! I guess a lot of work has to go into making something look effortlessly chic.

This is really inspiring for us!!! When we grow up, we are want to be fancy like you...all up in a magazine or something! :o) Congratulations!! We don't know what the photos are for, but we can say we knew you "when"....unless this is your 20th photo shoot or something. Can't wait to see the pix!

First photoshoot at this house. At our last house, we had one (all day) shoot that had photos in two magazines, and two small shoots for newspapers.
